Captiva Island Kayaks
Is there a place I can sleep on the beach in florida?
I’m planning a trip in a couple weeks to florida… plan on staying near sanibel/ captiva islands…. i’m not cheap, but would LOVE to be able to sleep under the stars on the beach for one night at least.. I assume this is illegal, but is there any place nearby that allows it? maybe some of the islands that are uninhabitted? I thought renting a kayak for 48 hours and hopping islands would be awsome, but will i get ticketed if i crash on the beach for the night?
I slept on Venice Beach, on the gulf coast of Florida. Pretty nice, quiet and noone will bother you.
