Cobra Kayaks
For estuary and light bay fishing, Kayak, Canoe or tinny?
I’ve been looking at Cobra fish n’ dive Kayak, rosco bass xtreme Canoe and Stessl edgetracker 3.4 tinny. Can’t decide as each has pro’s and cons. Can’t really stand in a kayak or Canoe but is cheaper and lighter to cart around to isolated spots. Tinny is heavier more expensive but more room and can stand to cast. Opinions???
Can’t stand in a kayak or canoe?! Well, I will admit a canoe takes practice and is iffy at best, but a good sit on top kayak with a widish beam is easily standable. This is my ‘yak (with flush mounted rod holders behind the seat, I’ll be getting a swivel mount in reach on the front eventually) http://www.heritagekayaks.com/redfish12.htm and she’s standable.
