Where can I find what year my outboard motor was made?
Hey all. I just bought an outboard motor. Its an evinrude sportwin 9.5 horsepower. I got the model and serial numbers off of it. Where can I go to find out what year its made? Is there a website that can tell me? I couldnt find anything on evinrude’s website…Anybody have any idea? Thank you in advance!

The 9.9 was introduced in 1974, and your 9.5 predates that. If you edit your question, and give the model no…..we can give you a better answer.
