Kayak Sf Bay Area
All beautiful places in the river / sea kayaking in the bay area of SF?
I live in Palo Alto, and this summer I'll try a little kayak for fun. I am 16, beautiful sport and all challenges (rivers funny sound). I would go on long trips Full day picturesque with my friends and go kayak fishing. Are there any good places around the SF Bay / Santa Cruz, where I can rent a kayak and experience in kayaking? I heard that Loch Lomond and Coyote Creek are nice places, but they rent kayaks? Any input is greatly appreciated. Ps Is there a forum kayak I can agree to ask questions like these?
You do not know at the forum, but I'm sure he ago. There are tons of places. Santa Cruz rental of kayaks and they are in Alameda and Sausolito. Monterey Bay has a great rental location. The main place most Elkhorn Slough will. There are also many lakes. You can kayak at Lexington and Vason in Los Gatos. There are several lakes to the south (Coyote, Anderson, Calero, Uvas). There is a little midnight pallets that are fun. There is also in San Mateo and Foster City, as well, although I'm not sure about the rental. REI has a great center of kayaking and they have lots of info for you. And here's a link to the Monterey site. They were very nice and professional. And do not worry not about a trip wimpy. We have plenty of exercise in and there were waves of good size as well. Have-http: / / www.montereybaykayaks.com/ fun!
