Lowrance Lvr-880 Dsc
Is my Lowrance HDS 5 tracer connect automatically with my VHF LVR 880 time in the Sun?
I thought of when I tracer and connected my radio with channel NMEA they will automatically communicate with each other to allow DSC position and current occupation? or did you configure the settings on each unit? I think that both devices use the NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 and plotter can work up to 38,400 baud what anyone? Hope someone can help please
You can get detailed instructions and even technical help Online …….. but a friend has followed all the instructions but it did not work before he went into the menu in the plotter map and turned on (activated) output on the radio. There is also a party registration so that USCG know who you are, if you send signal DSS. you can also do online.
