Mercury Marine is garbage?
I have a 150 on my 19 Mercury Bass Boat foot Ranger. I recently decided to rebuild it. only to discover the engine block was changed before I bought it and when I ordered a service manual, I had to give them the number series of the lower unit (model 1995) powerhead that reconstruction work is the 1983rd So I had the useless manual and 1995 were supplied ripped open and it says on the label does not return if there was opened. now they wont take it back free $ 36 restocking. is the greedy shit pisses me off. they charge that much for renewal if they send it opened and opened it. Needless to say the purchase of an im Evinrude and Mercury use this as an anchor. ill just a game to warn of increase.
It is good I think you expressed. I've been around boats and engines for years and I can understand your frustration, but I know as Mercury and Evinrude / Johnson boats to repair outboards engines. I'm sure they have not changed driving. Take a deep breath and explore your options with your interests in mind. Good luck!
